    Abstract ( 1361 )   PDF (1352KB) ( 2098 )
The idea on the transformation is from the process of Haier's case study. According to analog analysis on innovation experience between Haier and Tsinghua Tongfang, a big problem on innovation management of Haier was found. Based on literature and case studies, this paper analyzed the problem within innovation practice background in China. And then came a conclusion, i.e. there must be a transformation from traditional function integration to innovation synergy to acquire balance in short-term competitive profit and long-run competence development, value adding and creation, market innovation and technological innovation.

The research on the dual efficiency of regional invention and its improvement model
    Wang Huan-xiang
    2006, 27(5): 17-22.
    Abstract ( 1271 )   PDF (992KB) ( 2014 )
Traditional economics regards regional invention system as a input-output system. The analysis on the efficiency of regional invention emphasizes the efficiency of resources allocation by market mechanism with static equilibrium. Based on the network and its effect of regional invention, this article defines the efficiency of regional invention as dual efficiency with market efficiency and overrun efficiency. With the variable "overrun rate", the authors analyze the dynamic and Parito-optimal "area equilibrium". Finally, the article argues two patterns of improving efficiency including the original efficiency and later-coming one. So the study on the efficiency of regional invention is based on "economy-technology-society-institution".

Science as an institution of knowledge production
    Wang jian-an
    2006, 27(5): 35-38,9.
    Abstract ( 1388 )   PDF (1548KB) ( 2180 )
As an institution of knowledge production science provides a quite efficient incentive scheme for the production and disclosure of public knowledge society needs. The workings of the incentive mechanism are based on priority-based reward system. This system is incentive compatible with the norm of public disclosure from static point of view while it is not necessarily incentive compatible with the same norm from dynamic point of view.. To solve this problem, the priority of discovery needs the help of communism as the culture of science so as to increase the efficiency of knowledge production and to make the public disclosure of knowledge more quickly.

    Abstract ( 1712 )   PDF (1611KB) ( 2386 )
This paper presents different conclusions with that in the literature, using three approaches: treating R&D investment and post-innovation output independently, introducing a virtual player to reveal cooperative incentives and eliminating the symmetry of members. The authors find that firms with one of the following characteristics are prone to cooperate: large output in the future , high marginal cost reduction, large degree of risk-averse, strong absorptive capacity, leaders|or that firms facing the following circumstances are likely to cooperate: high spillovers, unserousness in the future competition. All in all, the move of firm's R&D investment must consistent with the direction of its (the alliance's) marginal aggregate cost reduction with spillovers for fixed prospective outputs.

A construction of new type ag-technology extension system——an analysis based on the matching degree between decision-making rights and knowledge
    Hu Ying, Dong Jin-cai
    2006, 27(5): 65-70.
    Abstract ( 1417 )   PDF (907KB) ( 2138 )
The efficiency of an organization's decision making depends on the matching of decision-making rights with the knowledge important to those decisions. When the decision-making rights and knowledge don't match with each other, either the decision-making rights will be transferred to those with the relevant knowledge or the knowledge will be transferred to those with the decision-making rights. Professional organizations usually transfer the decision-making rights to those with the professional knowledge. Entrusting the governmental departments as the agents of the governmental ag-technology extension organizations will not only prolong the agent chain but also increase the administrative degree of the entrusting process. While entrusting the research institutes as the agents will not only improve the judgment of the agents' behaviors but also shortens the agent chain and improves the quality of decision making.

The optimal position of three typical third party logistics (TPL) enterprises was analyzed in the ecological niche of logistics market environment. The relationship between competition and cooperation of TPL was probed in the article, and the conclusion was drawn that the TPL alliance is the optimal interorgnization form in the course of "co-oporation". The ecological niche structure model of TPL alliance was set up from three layers: living force, coordinated developing force and competition force. A new view was presented for the study of TPL.

Based on the cointegration theory ,this paper tests the Granger causality relationship between the adjustment of industry structure and FDI for China over the period 1982-2003. The result shows :there is a long run bidirectional Granger causality relationship in the presence of cointegrarion among the variables, and short run unidirectional Granger causality running from the adjustment of industry structure to the change of FDI . The adjustment of Chinese industry structure has a positive impact on the increase rate of FDI,but the change of FDI is not the main reason that promotes the adjustment of Chinese industry structure in the short run.
