Abstract: This paper analyzes the technology-based M&A integration from the aspect of technology knowledge transfer. It discusses the influences of the technology knowledge characteristics on the knowledge transfer. Then it proposes the essence of post merger integration is the transfer of knowledge. At last, the authors propose how to construct the firm context of technology knowledge transfer. The authors argue that there are three contextual dimensions, which are strategy, organization and culture.
