Prof Mu Rongping, Editor-in-Chief of “Science Research Management” and “Innovation and Development Policy”; Researcher at the Faculty of Business for Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, and at the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also serves as Director of the National Center for Frontier Technology Integration and Innovation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Chair of the UN Consultative Committee on Science and Technology Diplomacy, China Association for Science and Technology; and member of the Governing Council of the United Nations University, the Executive Committee of the International Network for Government Science Advice, and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Strategic Decision Advisory Committee. He previously served as President of the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research and of the China High-Tech Industry Development Promotion Association; Director of the Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Party Secretary of the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management and Executive Dean of the School of Intellectual Property, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a member of Economic and Scientific Advisory Board of European Patent Office. His long-term research focuses on science and technology policy, innovation and development policy and management, technology foresight, and international competitiveness of high-tech industries. He has provided research support for and contributed to the formulation of national plans on innovation capacity building, strategic emerging industries development, and the planning and research for a number of national innovative cities and science cities.
Vice Editor-in-chief : Wen Ke
Prof Wen Ke, Vice President of the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research; Vice Editor-in-Chief of Science Research Management; Professor at the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor (by appointment) at the School of Public Policy and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Doctoral Supervisor. Her research focuses on research organization and management, digital-intelligent innovation and governance, and collaborative innovation ecosystems. She has led over 100 projects, including major projects of the National Social Science Fund, key projects of national high-end think tanks, general and special projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and commissioned research projects from relevant ministries. She has published dozens of academic papers in authoritative domestic and international journals such as Research Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Management World, China Soft Science, and Chinese Public Administration. She is the author of Management of Research Institutions, Open Sharing of Scientific Data, and Basic Research Supporting Original Innovation. She has received honours including the CAS Lu Jiaxi Youth Science and Technology Talent Award, the Excellent Young Scholar Award of the Chinese Association for Science of Science and Science and Technology Policy Research, and the UCAS “Zhu Li Yuehua” Excellent Teacher Award.
