    Abstract ( 1701 )   PDF (1042KB) ( 2483 )
The cities in urban system meet the rank-sized rule. Innovation diffusion in urban system has several modes, such as hierarchical diffusion, contagious diffusion, and so on. The correlative analysis indicates that there is a clear correlation mechanism between innovation diffusion and urban system. Empirical analysis shows that both the innovation capacity and city size have hierarchical characters and are highly correlative in the Yangtze River Delta. The spatial diffusion order of innovation is consistent with the urban hierarchical structure. The spatial diffusion in urban system mainly belongs to hierarchical diffusion.

Two theoretical models for industry cluster

    Wang Zheng1,2,3, Zhu Yanxin1,3, Mao Kejing1,2, Yang Nian2, Liu Tao1

    2008, 29(5): 49-54 .
    Abstract ( 1950 )   PDF (1806KB) ( 2599 )
The mechanism of industry cluster is studied, and two cases of cluster process known as Cambridge phenomenon are analyzed. Based on this, some disciplinary understandings are found as below. Firstly, knowledge spillovers destroy the normal Hotelling process, and lead to regional industry cluster. The density of cluster is inversely proportional to the damp of knowledge spillovers. When production costs increase close to its price, the industry cluster is easy to appear. Secondly, it is easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to cluster than for large-sized enterprises. Thirdly, there is an optimal spatial scale, which depends on workers’ wage, rent of land, supply-demand relationship of land, etc. The scale of a cluster cannot develop wantonly. Fourthly, labor intensive firms and human resource intensive firms occupying small sized land are more inclined to cluster. On the other hand, traditional large-sized companies are hard to cluster. Finally, industry cluster is a kind of complex phenomenon, which has the character of emergence.

Research on the modularized microstructure and risk feature based on industry clusters
    Guo Lan1, Zhang Xiangjian2, Xu Jin3
    2008, 29(5): 55-62 .
    Abstract ( 1957 )   PDF (1179KB) ( 3015 )
Modularization is very important to the development of industry cluster, and it stands for the important direction of high technology industry. Because of the uncertainty and fierce competition in the development of industry cluster, there are many kinds of risk in the course of industry cluster’s modularization. Based on the microstructure of modularization, the correlative risk in modularization of industry cluster is analysed, such as compatibility risk, network risk, ecology risk, information risk and lock-in risk. The market structure and profit feature of modularization product is heavily influenced by these risks, and the upgrade of high technology industry is blocked. In order to control or eliminate these risks and reduce its harm and influence, corresponding measures should be put into the practice to promote the course of value modularity integration and industry convergence, and the large, composite, and sensitive modularization industry cluster should come into being.

“Enigma of Chinese basic research intensity” ——An explanation based on the AH model
    Xu Zhi, Zhou Jizhong
    2008, 29(5): 63-69 .
    Abstract ( 1851 )   PDF (1248KB) ( 2685 )
From 1987 to 2006, the basic research investment has increased by 12 times in China. It seems that Chinese basic research intensity falls into “the trap of low level equilibration”. Based on the conclusion of Aghion & Howitt model (1992) in neo-Schumpeterian endogenous growth theory, from the angle of knowledge accumulation, the problem involving Chinese basic research is made an attempt to explain. In the state of equilibration, a nation’s basic research intensity is decided by the contribution of various types of knowledge to the whole knowledge accumulation, such as, production elasticity of basic research, the elasticity of applied research investment to new knowledge of basic science, learning efficiency of “learning by doing”, etc. These contribution parameters determine Chinese basic research intensity.

Study on the mechanism of informal tacit knowledge transferring among organizations
Zhou Herong, Zhang Pengcheng, Zhang Jinlong
    2008, 29(5): 70-77 .
    Abstract ( 1872 )   PDF (1122KB) ( 2834 )
The Informal Tacit Knowledge Transferring(ITKT)is the main way of organizational tacit knowledge transferring, and is significance for the development of organizational core competitive competence and technological innovation competence. The knowledge transferring is divided into four types based on the characters of knowledge and its concrete transferring way, namely, formal explicit knowledge transferring, informal explicit knowledge transferring, formal tacit knowledge transferring, and informal tacit knowledge transferring; and their characters are compared. Then, the process mechanism of the informal tacit knowledge transferring among organizations is researcned from views of inter-individuals, between individual and group, between individual and organization, inter-groups, and between group and organization; based on that, tacit knowledge can be divided into true tacit knowledge and false tacit knowledge. In the end, the process model is set up, and the realization conditions are put forward.

Study on the model of knowledge diffusion inside of corporations
    Cai Weimin1, Gao Junshan2
    2008, 29(5): 89-92 .
    Abstract ( 2287 )

The knowledge diffusion model proposed by Professor Xu Yu is analyzed and the model follows a logistic increment rule that is applicable to the condition of enterprise knowledge accruement. However, when the effort factor of knowledge diffusion by the managers in corporation is considered, the model cannot explain the knowledge diffusion rule. From the angle of thought, the mechanism in the course of knowledge diffusion is analyzed and hereby the knowledge diffusion model is modified. The modified model concerns the factor of manager’s effort and the knowledge diffusion of enterprises follows the exponential increment law when considering the effort; however the diffusion follows the logistic increment law when the effort is given up. Therefore there is a critical point in the course of knowledge diffusion and the point fluctuates with the different of knowledge property and function.

    Abstract ( 2099 )   PDF (1938KB) ( 2853 )
In recent years, organizational trust has been considered as the key factor that enterprises acquire competitive advantage. Many scholars believe that knowledge sharing has intermediary role between organizational trust and organizational performance, but only few of empirical results were given. An empirical study on interaction among organizational trust, knowledge sharing, and organizational performance is conducted. The sample includes 120 companies in Southern China. The validity of organizational trust, knowledge sharing, and organizational performance is tested separately based on the preliminary study. The study proves that organizational trust has a significant positive impact on the knowledge sharing and it has a significant positive impact on the organizational performance by knowledge sharing , that is, knowledge sharing among employees has an intermediary role between organizational trust and organizational performance.

    2008, 29(5): 102-110 .
    Abstract ( 1867 )   PDF (1149KB) ( 2632 )
Abstract: Within the framework of double moral hazard, the design of compensatory contract for collaborative product development in supply chain has been studied. When designing the compensatory contract, the incentive of supplier’s effort and the incentive of manufacture’s own effort are taken into consideration. Through a component technology price, the contracts realize transfer of some product revenue between the manufacture and supplier, share the output; and through a fixed subsidy fee to meet the constraint for supplier’s participation in the development. Result shows that the component technology price in the optimal contract decreases with the supplier’s cost parameter of R&D effort, and the price increases with the manufacture’s cost parameter of R&D effort.

    2008, 29(5): 119-125 .
    Abstract ( 1841 )   PDF (1023KB) ( 2445 )
With analyzing the existing researches on Asset Management Company’s (AMC) debt-to-equity transformation for non-performing loan, the AMC’s debt- to-equity transformation for non-performing loan optimized decision-making model is established based on options. The determination condition for implementing enterprise debt-to-equity transformation is obtained theoretically. Simultaneously, the debt- to-equity transformation’s proportional calculating formula is derived; and it solved the problems of neglecting the change of debt- to-equity transformation enterprise’s asset anticipated value and the debt- to-equity transformation’s proportional restraint, which lead to the malpractice for debt- to-equity transformation’s unreasonable proportion. It is more likely that for the AMC’s debt- to-equity transformation for non-performing loan, the decision-making model is more conformed to the reality.

    2008, 29(5): 149-154 .
    Abstract ( 1872 )   PDF (1149KB) ( 1952 )
Based upon the assumption that “capacity decides credit”, researches on evaluation elements about enterprises credit analysis framework always locked in the enterprise capability to keep a promise in China. But, the large sample investigation by inquisition system for Chinese enterprisers discovered that the character of enterprisers influences badly on the credit of enterprises. Credit sponsion institutions in Zhejiang province widely put the character of enterprisers forward as a chief element in estimating credit level for medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, the system framework, element structure, and influential degree of enterprise credit are explored from the angle of vision based on credit risk identification and control; and the conclusion is elicited that the credit character and the credit capacity are two basic factors influencing enterprise credit, the character of the enterpriser is the most influential element for enterprise credit.

    2008, 29(5): 180-186 .
    Abstract ( 1996 )   PDF (1102KB) ( 2487 )
In order to understand the relationship between paternalistic leadership and organizational learning, 276 surveys from 10 Chinese enterprises were collected by inquirers. The results of Structure Equation Model(SEM) showed that benevolence leadership was positively correlated with six factors of organizational learning. However, authoritarianism leadership was negatively correlated with group learning, inter-organizational learning, exploitation learning and exploration learning. The main implication for the management practice is that leaders of Chinese enterprises should lead the organizational learning by benevolence leadership, and at the same time avert leading organizational learning by authoritarianism leadership.

    2008, 29(5): 187-192 .
    Abstract ( 2124 )   PDF (1512KB) ( 2683 )
The deficiency of online trust is the main bottleneck for electronic commerce’s further development. In order to guide electronic commerce industry to make a good consumer trust promotion strategy , it is very important to explore determinants and behavioral intention of online trust. The formative and functional mechanism of initial online trust for no online shopping experience consumer is different from that of sustainable online trust for experienced consumer. The online trust models for two kinds of consumer are proposed separately. Based on the large sample from B2C and C2C website consumers, the SEM method is employed to test the online trust theoretical model and a series of corresponding hypotheses. Firstly, it is found that the vendor’s reputation, the website security, and easy to use are the determinants of initial online trust for no online shopping experience consumer and response ability and communication level are more important determinants of sustainable online trust for experienced consumer. Secondly, the initial online trust and sustainable online trust determine intention of the information provision and intention of online shopping, and two kinds of intention show the positive correlation.
