An analysis on the delayed effect of innovation input and the cause of innovative risks
Zhang Zhihe, Xu Ke, Li Peng
    2015, 36(5): 10-20.
    Abstract ( 1220 )
The research is based on a delay perspective of innovation input. This research uses the method of Econometrics and System Dynamics to measure the delayed time of innovation input and analyzes the delayed effect, aiming to uncover the sunk cost of innovation input and quantify the innovations risks. The results have shown that: (1) from the perspective of the delayed time, the delayed time of corporate funds is the shortest. Therefore, innovation input should put the enterprises in a dominant position; (2) from the perspective of the delayed effect, the sunk cost resulted from the different delayed time varied in each stage of innovation input. Sunk costs reflect and quantify the risks in the process of innovation; (3) To shorten the delayed time of talent input and to lower the sunk cost are important measures to improve the input-output efficiency of innovation.

Quality competition, technology spillovers and optimal subsidy strategy
    Wu Fuxiang, Duan Wei
    2015, 36(5): 38-46.
    Abstract ( 1152 )
Based on the perspective of product quality competition, we build a model with quasi-linear utility function which contains vertical differentiation and horizontal differentiation. With the function and the using of game theory, information economics, simulation deduction and numerical simulation, we conduct welfare analysis on the efficiency of government subsidy in the transition of national technology innovation strategy from the dimensions of sales variance and R&D externality. The conclusions of paper show that: First, in order to achieve the same level of social welfare effect, the cost of subsidies on products is higher than the cost of R&D subsidy. Moreover, the extra cost of subsides will transfer to firm's profits. Second, the U-shaped relationship between the subsidy efficiency and horizontal differentiation is verified and the welfare increase of subsidies on industries with high technology spillover is significantly higher than that on the industries with low technology spillover subsidies. Therefore, the government should implement different support and subsidy policies based on the different stages of the industry.

Financial development, financing restriction ease and firm R&D investments
Sun Xiaohua, Wang Yun, Xu Ran
    2015, 36(5): 47-54.
    Abstract ( 1593 )
The degree of financial development is added into the model of financing cost function and R&D investment decision model, and the theoretical mechanism of easing financing restriction to stimulate R&D investment by financial development is discussed. Based on the provincial panel data of Chinese large-and-medium sized industrial firms from 2006 to 2010, the influences and mechanism of financial development on the firm's R&D investment are tested empirically by dynamic panel model and Euler equation. The reflections of the test are as follows. (1)There is a significant positive correlation between R&D intensity and internal cash flow, indicating that the financing restriction really exists in R&D activities of industrial firms. (2)The increase of financial deepening degree can reduce the reliance on internal finance of R&D investment and intensify the functions of bank loan and paid-up capital. (3)The influence on firms' financing restriction by capital market development has no apparent effect, reflecting the imperfect functions of capital market and the fact that capital market has not become a financing channel of R&D investment in China.

A study about opportunity-resource integration exploitation behavior
Ge Baoshan, Gao Yang, Jiang Dake, Xu Tite, Cai Sining
    2015, 36(5): 99-108.
    Abstract ( 1422 )
The embedded analysis and thought on the comprehensive and systematical perspective research of the opportunity-resources development behavior will not only contribute to the profound understanding of the essential attribute of entrepreneurial behavior, but also clarify the main context of the entrepreneurial process. Unfortunately, most of current works are based on opportunity-resources ambidexterity theory, and restricted to the thought and conclusion. In this paper, through reference to some analytical method of system theory and coordination of both opportunity and resources theory, we first proposed the idea of Opportunity-Resource Integration Exploitation Behavior. After that, to ensure the effectiveness and rationality of this new concept, we finished the systematic hierarchical division and system construction. Furthermore, we make an empirical test including 214 effective questionnaires to justify this conception further. The results showed that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and the principal components analysis results showed the rationality of the generation of new items. The Opportunity-Resource Integration Exploitation Behavior offers a novel theoretical perspective to the entrepreneurship academic world, which is of great value and significance to the research.

Zhang Meng, Zhang Guangyu, Tang Xiaofei
    2015, 36(5): 109-117.
    Abstract ( 1115 )
Message framing has a significant influence on consumer purchase decisions. Researchers have mostly focused on the area of risky choice framing, but few research focused attribute effect and its influence mechanism. This study takes catering service as the research context to analyze the types of attribute framing and its features. In addition, this study uses scenario experiment to examine the interaction between attribute framing and regulatory focus, as well as the impacts of gain framing and loss framing on service evaluation in decision-making for service purchases. First, the findings show that attribute framing has a significant influence on service evaluation in the decision-making process for service purchases, and this influence is differentiated by the types of attribute framing. Second, when the attribute framing fits the consumers' regulatory focus, consumers evaluate services higher. Third, cognitive fluency and emotional experience mediate attribute framing. This study extends the theory of framing effects and provides service enterprises with guidance on offering various product descriptions and product presentations for different customers.

The Match between Service innovation strategy and technical capabilities of manufacturing firms——A case study of Huawei
    Zhao Lilong, Wei Jiang
    2015, 36(5): 118-126.
    Abstract ( 1384 )
Based on a longitudinal case study of a Chinese communication equipment manufacturing firm (Huawei), this paper explores the relationship of strategic matching between manufacturing firms' service innovation strategy and technological capacity in the perspective of resource-based view. The findings show that manufacturing firms with lower technological capacity can provide comprehensive product supporting service and consequently enhance product value effectively when they select incremental service innovation strategy. In contrast, while owning higher technological capacity, manufacturing firms are required to implement radical service innovation strategy to gain spillover effects, provide special value for customers and finally establish new competitive advantage. This paper contributes to completing the extant theory of service innovation strategy research by expanding the theoretical boundary, and provides essential practical references to manufacturing firms in China by suggesting how to implement service innovation strategy.

The antecedents and consequences of employee feedback avoidance behavior from the perspective of a coping theory
    Wang Zhen, Song Meng
    2015, 36(5): 127-138.
    Abstract ( 1158 )
Feedback avoidance behavior (FAB), described as a set of active feedback management tactics that employees may enact when they have performed poorly and wish to avoid a feedback exchange with their supervisors, is an important type of feedback management. However, the investigation is very limited that we still have little knowledge of how FAB influences employee's workplace outcomes and why does FAB occur. Using coping theory as an overarching framework, the current study aimed to explore the antecedents and consequences of FAB in Chinese organizational context. We examined research questions with 192 supervisor-employee dyads. The results revealed that CSE and abusive supervision had negative and positive effects on FAB, respectively. Abusive supervision was found to moderate the association of CSE and FAB that CSE was negatively associated with employees' FAB only when their supervisor demonstrated less abusive leadership behavior. As for the outcomes, FAB had detrimental effect on employee's in-role and extra-role performance. In general, this study illustrates the interactive effects of CSE and abusive supervision on FAB, which is an urgent response to extant calling. It also broaden the research line of feedback avoidance behavior by illustrating its important outcomes including both in-role and out-role performance.

A research on the policy-making process of the interaction-oriented emerging industry
    Tian Zhilong, Shi Jun
    2015, 36(5): 139-148.
    Abstract ( 995 )
This paper discusses how governments make policies under the circumstances with high uncertainties through interactions. By using content analysis of three macro government policy making processes in internet of things (IOT) industry in China, we have obtained the following results. Firstly, the macro government policy making process is composed of several incremental issues and stages in which micro-level policies are formed based on the interactions to affect the behavior of industry sectors directly. Secondly, there are five approaches of interactions among various hierarchies of governments and between governments and industry sectors in China. Interaction approaches used by interactive leaders vary with their administration positions or natures of macro policies. Thirdly, the regularities of interactions vary with the different natures of macro policies. These findings elaborate the perspective by reference to how different actor categories interact with each other to promote decision information clearer and suggest theoretical and empirical basis for policy makers to build policy making system based on interactions for the development of emerging industries.

A study of the influence factors of university scientific research team cooperation
Xu Zhi, Chen Liyu, Wang Sihui
    2015, 36(5): 149-161.
    Abstract ( 1450 )
This article tries to dig internal factors from the team level. Organizational behavior, management science and other disciplines provide this paper with a theoretical support, from which this paper extracts the main factors affecting the cooperation level of overall team: Heterogeneity, the complexity of the organizational structure, complete and balanced role, and team conflict. Besides, this paper also uses social network to analyze the team cooperative situation through questionnaires, using structural equation model methods, and the paper gets some main conclusions:(1) Large-scale groups (25 people or more) are inferior to small teams (10 people) in cooperative network density, the intensity of cooperation and cohesion; groups founded in short time have strongest team cohesion; and the more the teachers in teams the weaker the team cohesion; (2) Gender and age heterogeneity does not adversely affect cooperation, on the contrary, has a positive effect on the cooperative network and the cooperation cohesion; task-oriented heterogeneity has negative effect on cooperation, indicating that university research team did not achieve cooperation in essence;(3) The levels and Divided small groups in large-scale teams are generally above normal levels, leading the team organizational structure more complex and resulting higher costs of communication and coordination; and (4) Research team conflict has played a negative role on university research cooperation, the negative effects of the program conflict is more significant, thankfully, the conflict in university research team is not very strong, it has a certain relationship with the high quality of the members in team.

Knowledge sharing incentive of project teams based on the perspective of knowledge withholding
Lin Lingna, Shi Jiangang, Tang Daizhong
    2015, 36(5): 162-170.
    Abstract ( 1306 )
Based on the basic analysis of the concept of knowledge withholding in project teams, the social cognitive theory, social loafing theory etc. were integrated and the concept model on the antecedents of knowledge withholding was constructed. Then the stepwise regression analysis was applied to test the hypotheses by means of 187 valid questionnaires. The results show that knowledge sharing self-efficacy, personal outcome expectations, extrinsic incentive, distributive justice and reciprocity have negative impact on knowledge withholding. Knowledge sharing self-efficacy has a positive impact on personal outcome expectations. The results also show that personal outcome expectation has a partial intermediate effect on the relation between knowledge sharing self-efficacy and knowledge withholding and reciprocal preference has obvious function of adjusting the relationship between knowledge sharing self-efficacy and knowledge withholding. Lastly, we analyzed and discussed the conclusions.
