An analysis of SMEs’ path selection and risks screening through crowdfunding
    Zhang Ronggang, Xu Jingping
    2018, 39(8): 19-25.
    Abstract ( 319 )
In the context of the rapid development of information technology, the path and the effect of internet financial supporting S&MEs, is worth exploring. Based on the information asymmetry and anti-locking effect, this paper analyzes and finds that internet crowdfunding supports S&MEs is mainly through scale anti-locking, structural anti-locking and technical anti-lock. In the case of asymmetric information, internet crowdfunding can effectively identify the risk of S&MEs through collecting information and increasing default cost. It can reduce the cost of information through the economies of scale to achieve the anti- lock effect. Based on this, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of improving the platform authentication mechanism, constructing the network credit system, introducing the gambling mechanism and strengthening the risk endorsement.

Task-related top management team faultline, mixed-ownership structure and innovation performance in state-owned companies
Lin Ming, Qi Haifeng, Ju Fanghui
    2018, 39(8): 26-33.
    Abstract ( 497 )
Based on the panel data of Chinese listed and state-owned electronic and information companies, applying the theories of TMT faultlines and ownership structure, we probe the relationship between task-related TMT faultline and innovation performance, as well as the moderating role of the mixed-ownership structure in the relationship between TMT task-related faultline and innovation performance in the state-owned companies. The results of Fixed-Effects Negative Binomial Model analysis indicate that, first, the relationship between task-related TMT faultline and innovation performance is weakened when the level of balance between the equity proportion of big shareholders who represent state ownership and that of big shareholders who represent private ownership is high; while the relationship is not significant when the level of balance between the equity proportions of the above-mentioned two types of shareholders is low. Second, the positive effect of task-related TMT faultline on innovation performance is strengthened when the equity proportion of institutions investors increases. To strengthen the positive impact of task-related TMT faultline on innovation performance, enterprises with mixed-ownership structure should contingently arrange ownership structure to reduce the interest conflicts between the two types of shareholders, and try to improve knowledge integration within the TMT.

Indigenous R&D, technology import and domestic technological content of the manufacturing industry
    Liu Lei, Liu Xiaoning
    2018, 39(8): 34-42.
    Abstract ( 362 )
Using Chinese input-output table, this paper calculated the domestic technological content (DTC) and the share of vertical speciation (VSS) of manufacturing industry as well as 16 industrial sectors from 1992 to 2012. The results show that : the DTC of manufacturing industry and 16 industrial sectors increased gradually with time, the VSS of manufacturing industry and 16 industrial sectors increased gradually which indicates that Chinese participation of vertical specialization is getting deeper. Using the system GMM method, we further empirically study the influencing factors of DTC. The results show that: (1) indigenous R&D、foreign technology import、FDI as well as import trade has positive promotion to DTC, and the effect of indigenous R&D is greater than the other three factors. (2) over-embedded in vertical specialization can cause "low-end locked" effect which is bad for the promotion of DHT. (3) human resource plays a very important role in technical progress, which has obvious positive promotion on DHT.

    2018, 39(8): 43-52.
    Abstract ( 271 )
Comparative Advantage Theory has been controversial for its confused definition and identification path and lack of empirical tests. This paper analyzes mechanisms of revealed and potential comparative advantage, and conducts spatial econometrics test based on space-time evolvement of comparative advantages of regional manufacturing industries. The results indicate that technology, factor endowment, scale economy, agglomeration effects and institutional factors are sources of revealed comparative advantage. Therefore, comparative advantage strategy of regional economy development should not exclude the impacts of multi-factor, and the driving mechanism is diverse instead of exclusive.

    2018, 39(8): 53-62.
    Abstract ( 301 )
According to the "factors of price, cost tradeoffs, regional energy efficiency change" chains of logical analysis, this paper constructs energy total factor productivity index based on the cost from the dynamic perspective and includes the unexpected output, search for the cause of total factor productivity index of energy change and the change of China's regional energy efficiency distribution pattern and characteristics of dynamic evolution: The provincial total factor productivity index of energy change, on the one hand, technological progress caused technological catch-up and technology impact efficiency boundary change; On the other hand, it is also affected by the combination of factor price changes, the ability to catch up and change the configuration efficiency caused by the combination of factors. The energy allocation efficiency, which is decided by the factor price, has gradually become the key factor to the change of the total factor energy productivity index in China. Energy utilization efficiency and energy allocation efficiency in the study period has a significant jump growth, indicating that accelerate the process of marketization. Due to a single polarization distribution gradually into a bimodal distribution evolution, breaking the distribution characteristics appear to gather in the poles of club convergence characteristics, backward areas to catch up with the leading area more difficult; In the area of energy allocation efficiency, with the elements of market-oriented reform, Its distribution of mobility is further enhanced, the gap between the leading areas and backward regions is gradually narrowing, the possibility for backward areas to catch up is increased.

A research on evaluation of innovation ecological ability of national high-tech industrial clusters
Ou Guangjun, Yang Qing, Lei Lin
    2018, 39(8): 63-71.
    Abstract ( 355 )
Cluster innovation essentially is a process in which heterogeneous knowledge of different subjects is integrated into a correlated structure. Current research on the evaluation of cluster innovation ability mainly adopts the input – output approach of innovation resources, which is hard to analyses the root problem of the different subjects achieving the innovative ecology through synergy. Either as the elements or the structure, the cluster contains ecological characteristics. Based on ecosystem theory and connotation of ecological chain of cluster innovation, this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system of ecological ability coordinated with industrial clusters and knowledge clusters as the core. The system is constructed comprehensively by structure, relationships, openness and output, which synergizes the subjective ecosystem, innovation environment and innovation output in hi-tech industries. This paper adopts factor analysis method, selects 56 national high-tech zones in China as the empirical evaluation sample, aims to find out the four key ecological factors—structural performance of innovation population, synergy of knowledge innovation community, continuous innovation, the degree of innovation chain cooperation, we find that the innovation ability of national high-tech zones is low, and national high-tech zones exist unbalance phenomenon in ecological factors developing. So we draw up the policy suggestion on the construction of their innovation ecological hi-tech zones.

Liability of foreignness, organizational learning and realization of Chinese MNEs' cross-border M&A deals
    Zhu Hua
    2018, 39(8): 80-90.
    Abstract ( 313 )
For the purpose of exploring the issue of high failure rate of Chinese MNEs’ cross-border M&As, the project seeks to develop theoretical framework in dealing with the entry barriers of firms’ cross-border M&As and undertake empirical studies revealing the liability of foreignness encountered by Chinese MNEs. Moreover, combining with organizational learning theory, we also try to uncover the role of experience in this process given the extant liability of foreignness, in order to answer which type experience serves to function, if there is any, and its mechanism. Through the empirical test of 626 cross-border M&A deals of Chinese MNEs during 2005-2014, the paper finds no significant adverse effects exist if the deal involving state-owned identity and sensitive industry factors, while as the quantity of the deal and the quality of the law system as well as economic freedom of host countries do have positive effects in fostering the completion of these deals. The results also show that because Chinese MNEs are less experienced in cross-border deals and also fail to develop learning, transferring and applying ability of experience, most type of their experience are invalid in overcoming liability of foreignness except time-accumulated experience revealing U shape influence. What’s worse, sometimes experience serves to adversely function due to the cost of trial and error.

    Du Weijian, Li Mengjie
    2018, 39(8): 91-98.
    Abstract ( 323 )
This paper uses the matched data from China Customs database and Industrial enterprises’ database to analysis the dynamic relationship between import, export and innovation, combined with the propensity score matching variable weight estimation method. The results show that import will increase the probability of export and R&D, and the effects are more significant in the high-tech industry. Beside, the promotion of export on non-R&D enterprises is not significant, but it can increase the probability of innovation deepening of the R&D enterprises. In addition, the paper finds the optimal decision of import, export and innovation. It is that import will improve the innovation, and some R&D enterprises will promote the innovation deepening by export. The conclusion is still robust in consideration for industry heterogeneity. This paper provides micro-level empirical evidences for objective assessment of openness, and gives useful policy implications for innovation driven strategy under an open economy.

    Jiang Liang, Zhang Qingpu
    2018, 39(8): 110-119.
    Abstract ( 346 )
Development of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry is related to construction of the national defense core capability and establishment of digital low-attitude industry economy. With the gradual deepening of civil-military integration development strategy, UAV industry achieves explosive progress. The deep development of UAV industry is closely related to the construction of civil-military integration level evaluation system. At present, the research on the depth evaluation of civil-military fusion is only at the macroscopic level. Based on the grounded theory and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, a research model of civil-military deep integration based on microcosmic perspective was established. Firstly, the driving factors of civil-military integration in UAV industry were qualitatively analyzed. Then, the theoretical model of UAV civil-military integration driving factors was determined by data collection, open coding, spindle coding, selective coding and saturation checking. Selective coding and spindle coding of the driving elements were respectively input as four first class indicators and fifteen second class indicators. And the weight of every factor was determined with civil-military integration levels for driving factors on the basis of Delphi method and fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process. The presented method was used in military-civilian integration level of three UAV enterprises. According to the analysis results, some opinions on construction of civil-military integration depth development were given. The method presented can also be applied to relevant national competent departments and other industries.

    2018, 39(8): 151-160.
    Abstract ( 291 )
Trust mechanisms and punishment mechanisms were important factors affecting on the exchange efficiency of knowledge networks. Most studies discussed Trust mechanisms or mechanisms separately, can not fully reflect the matching between two types of mechanisms in knowledge exchange network. By constructing a simulation model of a two-phase eight-class knowledge-sharing network and analyzing comprehensively the two mechanisms for the knowledge exchange networks in different stages. We found, ① In the early stages of the exchange of knowledge, the short-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the temporary task-based knowledge network with high initial trust mechanism and high short-term punishment mechanism is the highest, the short-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the temporary team knowledge network with low initial trust mechanism and low short-term punishment mechanism is the lowest, the short-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the temporary task-based knowledge network rapidly increase, then gradually flat, other short-term knowledge exchange efficiency is showing first declined, then gradually flat; high initial trust mechanism is more important than high short-term punishment mechanism.②In the development stages of the exchange of knowledge, the long-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the fragile emotional knowledge network with high sustained trust mechanism and high long-term punishment mechanism was the highest, the long-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the Strong transactional knowledge network with low sustained trust mechanism and low long-term punishment mechanism was the lowest, the long-term knowledge exchange efficiency of the fragile emotional knowledge network will continue to increase, other long-term knowledge exchange efficiency will be gradually reduced; high long-term punishment mechanism is more important than high sustained trust mechanism.③ the whole knowledge network structure had played an important role in the above-mentioned different trust and punishment mechanism to match. The study avoids the conventional analysis fragmented trust and punishment mechanism of one-sidedness, to make up for the lack of discussion of past deficiencies dynamic process stages, from short-term and long-term trust and punishment mechanism to show the dynamic matching knowledge network and exchange efficiency of the whole picture, to improve Different stages of knowledge networks provided important management inspiration.
