Impact of emotional intelligence on temporary team creativity

Abstract: The relationship between emotional intelligence and team creativity has always been a hot topic in the filed of emotion and innovation research. Based on structural equation model (SEM) and simulation, the paper discusses the mechanism of emotional intelligence and team creativity with temporary?team. An empirical research is conducted with temporary team sample, exploring the relationship of emotional intelligence, culture of innovation, swift trust, knowledge transfer and team creativity. The results show that emotional intelligence indirectly affects team creativity via a moderated mediating effect of culture of innovation, swift trust and knowledge transfer. Finally, managerial implications of temporary team are discussed.
