数实融合提升关键核心技术领域企业创新效率的研究——基于中国A股上市公司的数据检验

数实融合提升关键核心技术领域企业创新效率的研究——基于中国A股上市公司的数据检验

摘要

数字经济与实体经济融合已成为解决企业关键核心技术创新瓶颈问题的重要选择,本文利用文本分析法提取发明专利引用信息以及上市公司年报关键核心技术信息,构建数实融合与关键核心技术领域企业的创新效率指标,并将2008—2022年中国A股上市公司作为研究样本,采用双向固定效应模型研究数实融合对关键核心技术领域企业创新效率(下文简称为企业创新效率)的影响及作用机制。研究结果表明:(1)数实融合能显著提升企业创新效率;(2)数实融合能够促进消费升级、优化资源配置、降低企业融资成本、提高供应链效率以及提高战略决策稳健性,从需求、供给、技术和战略端四个维度全面提升企业创新效率;(3)从数实融合内外部特征出发,检验其对企业创新效率的异质性影响;(4)从地方政府政策环境和企业经营内部环境的两个视角检验数实融合对创新效率提升效果的调节效应。本文的研究结论为推进数实融合,提升关键核心技术领域企业创新效率方面提供了理论支撑以及政策启示。

Abstract

The integration of digital economy with real economy has become an important option for addressing the innovation bottleneck of enterprises in key core technology sectors. This paper utilized the text mining method to extract the citation information from invention patents and key core technology information from the annual reports of listed companies. We constructed the indicators for innovation efficiency in enterprises within the fields of digital-real integration and key core technologies. Using a sample of A-share listed companies in China from 2008 to 2022, we employed a two-way fixed effects model to study the impact of digital-real integration on enterprise innovation efficiency (hereafter referred to as enterprise innovation efficiency) and its mechanisms. The research findings indicated that: (1) Digital-real integration significantly enhances enterprise innovation efficiency; (2) It promotes consumption upgrading, optimizes resource allocation, reduces enterprise financing costs, improves supply chain efficiency, and enhances the robustness of strategic decision-making, thereby comprehensively improving enterprise innovation efficiency from the perspectives of demand, supply, technology and strategy; (3) We examined the heterogeneous effects of digital-real integration on enterprise innovation efficiency based on its internal and external characteristics; (4) We analysed the moderating effects of the local government policy environment and the internal operational environment of enterprises on the improvement of innovation efficiency due to digital-real integration. The conclusions of this study will provide theoretical support and policy insights for promoting digital-real integration and enhancing innovation efficiency in key core technology enterprises.

As technological convergence has recently become a mainstream innovation trend, technological opportunities need to be explored in heterogeneous technology fields. Most of the previous convergence studies have taken a retrospective view in measuring the degree of convergence and monitoring the converging trends. This paper proposes a quantitative future-oriented approach to technological opportunity discovery for convergence using patent information. In a future-oriented approach, technological opportunities for convergence are suggested by predicting potential technological knowledge flows (TKFs) between heterogeneous fields. The potential TKFs are predicted by a link prediction method in a directed network, which is suggested in this paper to represent the direction of the predicted TKFs by adapting the concept of bibliographic coupling and edge-betweenness centrality. Converging technological opportunities are proposed as incremental and radical technological opportunities by extracting the potential increased knowledge flow links and emerging knowledge flow links. Moreover, the direction and themes of the predicted potential TKFs are provided as technological opportunities for convergence. As an illustration of the proposed method, the technological opportunities between biotechnology (BT) and information technology (IT) are explored. Firms and researchers can use the proposed method to seek out new technological opportunities from various technologies so that R&D policymakers can plan new R&D projects on technological convergence.© 2018 Elsevier Ltd. Extant literature has increased our understanding of specific aspects of digital transformation, however we lack a comprehensive portrait of its nature and implications. Through a review of 282 works, we inductively build a framework of digital transformation articulated across eight building blocks. Our framework foregrounds digital transformation as a process where digital technologies create disruptions triggering strategic responses from organizations that seek to alter their value creation paths while managing the structural changes and organizational barriers that affect the positive and negative outcomes of this process. Building on this framework, we elaborate a research agenda that proposes [1] examining the role of dynamic capabilities, and [2] accounting for ethical issues as important avenues for future strategic IS research on digital transformation.

Rapid and pervasive digitization of innovation processes and outcomes has upended extant theories on innovation management by calling into question fundamental assumptions about the definitional boundaries for innovation, agency for innovation, and the relationship between innovation processes and outcomes. There is a critical need for novel theorizing on digital innovation management that does not rely on such assumptions and draws on the rich and rapidly emerging research on digital technologies. We examine the concerns that new technologies will render labor redundant in a framework in which tasks previously performed by labor can be automated and new versions of existing tasks, in which labor has a comparative advantage, can be created. In a static version where capital is fixed and technology is exogenous, automation reduces employment and the labor share, and may even reduce wages, while the creation of new tasks has the opposite effects. Our full model endogenizes capital accumulation and the direction of research toward automation and the creation of new tasks. If the long-run rental rate of capital relative to the wage is sufficiently low, the long-run equilibrium involves automation of all tasks. Otherwise, there exists a stable balanced growth path in which the two types of innovations go hand-in-hand. Stability is a consequence of the fact that automation reduces the cost of producing using labor, and thus discourages further automation and encourages the creation of new tasks. In an extension with heterogeneous skills, we show that inequality increases during transitions driven both by faster automation and the introduction of new tasks, and characterize the conditions under which inequality stabilizes in the long run. 基于2008~2020年上市企业样本,使用Python对企业年报进行文本挖掘,构建企业数字化程度指数,分析企业数字化程度对战略激进度的影响机理。研究表明:①企业数字化程度对战略激进度有显著的正向影响。②企业数字化程度对战略激进度的影响强度与所有权性质、内部控制质量和冗余资源有关,即企业数字化程度对战略激进度的影响在民营企业比在国有企业更强,在内部控制质量高和冗余资源多的企业更强;进一步比较上述变量调节作用的强度,发现冗余资源的调节强度明显高于企业所有权性质和内部控制质量。③战略激进度在企业数字化程度促进企业成长的过程中起到中介作用。

Based on the data of listed firms from 2008 to 2020, this study uses Python to mine the keywords of the annual report, constructs the firm-level digitization degree index, and empirically tests the relationship between the firm digitization and the strategic aggressiveness. The results show that, firstly, the higher the degree of digitalization of the firm, the more aggressiveness its strategy is; secondly, the degree of digitization has a stronger positive impact on the strategic aggressiveness for the firm with private ownership, high internal control quality, and abundant redundant resources, and the moderating effects of redundant resources are significantly stronger than the other two; finally, the degree of digitization significantly promotes the growth of the firm, and the above relationship is mediated by strategic aggressiveness.
