A research on the evaluation of strategic module suppliers and management mechanism from the perspective of collaborative innovation
Wang Haijun, Feng Junzheng, Zou Hua
    2016, 37(3): 1-12.
    Abstract ( 985 )
In the Internet age, the involvement of professional suppliers plays a vital role in enterprise innovation. Based on the shortage of existing researches on the mode of suppliers’ involvement in enterprise technology innovation and the evaluation mechanism, this paper firstly discusses the collaborative innovation mode that module suppliers get involved in the end-to-end business process under internet circumstances. Then a fuzzy collaborative evaluation methodology is taken to deal with the evaluation and selection of strategic module supplier. In this methodology, the whole process evaluation indices are defined; a fuzzy number concept is utilized to describe corresponding evaluation value, and then comes to the evaluation from key department representatives of enterprise. Additionally, in order to ensure qualified strategic module supplier in and un-qualified resources out, this paper presents a management mechanism framework featuring “abiding by contract, win-win, profit-sharing, etc.” to promote the sustainable operation of strategic module supplier. Finally, a Qingdao Haier refrigerator case is used to illustrate and verify the feasibility and adaptability of the theory proposed in this paper.

    2016, 37(3): 31-41.
    Abstract ( 1189 )
In the new background of globalization and open innovation, existing studies are not perfectly explainable on the significant changes in the starting point, scope, and speed of catch-up, which we defined as “new model of technological catch-up”. Put differently, it leaves a gap on the mechanism that how innovative capabilities evolve in this context. Based on the dynamic capabilities view, this study conducts a longitudinal case study on China International Marine Containers Group (CIMC), and concludes two main findings. Firstly, technological M&A is increasingly an important way for latecomers to gain leadership by new model of technological catch-up in open innovation era, and to develop innovative capability fleetly. Secondly, dynamic capabilities can compensate for the weakness in innovative capability, and promote innovative capability base, upgrading and systematization. Dynamic capabilities itself develops together with higher level catch-up. As for contribution, it fleshes out the lacunae of capability evolution mechanism, and extends the application of dynamic capabilities view. It also sheds light on the experience of a successful latecomer, as reference to other firms.

Influence of channel conflict on innovation capability in long-term relationships
    2016, 37(3): 59-67.
    Abstract ( 986 )
This paper investigates the influence of channel conflict on innovation capability in long-term organizational relationships and studies the specific mechanism through which channel conflict affects knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization. Based on a questionnaire survey of 152 SMEs in China, the results show that: (1) functional conflict can stimulate inter-organizational knowledge sharing, while the frequency of conflict negatively moderates the relationship between functional conflict and inter-organizational knowledge sharing; (2) knowledge sharing has a mediating effect on the relationship between functional conflict and innovation capability; and (3) relationship quality positively moderates the relationship between functional conflict and knowledge sharing, but negatively moderates the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovation capability. These findings broaden the theoretical scope of conflict theory and refine the theoretical framework of channel conflict. This study also provides significant practical implications for organizations with respect to effectively guiding and resolving conflicts.

    Cheng Yu, Cui Jingjing
    2016, 37(3): 101-109.
    Abstract ( 796 )   PDF
The performance of incubation policy should consider both incentive effect for providing innovation service and service supporting effect for incubating enterprises’ growth. This paper put forward a multi-level conducted evaluation framework for incubator policy. Based on the survey data between 2008 and 2012 on implementation of the incubator preferential tax policy, it empirically investigates the integrated effect of incubator preferential tax policyby three stages of simultaneous equations model. The result indicates that there are regional differences in the implementation of incubator’stax preferential policy. The policy effectively incentivized the basic service like accommodation and technical personnel, but it didn’t have significantly positive effect onfinancing andsocial networks. Actually, the latter is a moreimportant factorfor the innovationperformance of incubating enterprises. It highlights that the future policy emphasis of incubator should be turned from basic services to innovation services, such as financing, social network, entrepreneurship mentor, etc.

    Abstract ( 786 )   PDF
The fairness of agricultural science and technology resources allocation is significant for improvement of agricultural science and technology resources allocation ability. This paper analyzed the regional difference on the allocation capacity of agricultural science and technology resources in China, and then we decomposed its influence factors with Dagum Gini index. The results showed that, firstly, there was significant difference in agricultural science and technology resource allocation ability. 17 provinces had a decline trend in agricultural science and technology resource allocation ability. In the 6 ecological districts, the allocation ability of agricultural science and technology resources also were on the decline trend in northeast and northwest areas. However, other 4 districts had an increase tendency. Secondly, on the whole, there was a decreasing tendency in the fairness of agricultural science and technology resources allocation. But it showed remarkable different trend in different time stages. Thirdly, no matter inside one area or between districts, agricultural science and technology resources allocation fairness had significant difference. And the difference between districts was the main source leading to the difference in national agricultural science and technology resources allocation ability.

    2016, 37(3): 124-132.
    Abstract ( 1012 )
Under the background of global knowledge economy, the depth and breadth of interdisciplinary research activity has become an essential factor in the innovation process, which generates an important impact on the macro-economy development and academic growth. In the paper, we firstly review the existing interdisciplinary measurement research at home and abroad. Based on the Web of Science Classification of Science Citation Index (SCI) and Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) provided by ISI Thomson Reuters, we propose the Specialization Index, Integration Index and Diffusion Index to measure the inter-disciplinarity of certain research, and a science mapping visualization method to present the distribution characteristics of interdisciplinary research. Finally, taking the publications of Nobel Prize winners in Physics from 2005 to 2014 as examples, we carry out the empirical research on the established index to figure out the interdisciplinary research characteristic of these well-known scholars. The results indicate that the innovative achievements of physics have obvious subject characteristics; the research publication of the Nobel Prize winner generally focuses on the physical science field; both integration degree and diffusion degree are still in a lower level.

    2016, 37(3): 133-142.
    Abstract ( 844 )   PDF
Currently, peer review is one of the most effective approaches to evaluate the scientific project. However, the fairness of peer review results is seriously affected by various levels of reviewers in the process of peer review. Faced with the problem, this paper proposes a reviewer reputation measuring approach based on PageRank algorithm. Firstly, the proposed approach calculates the review level of reviewers based on Gaussian distribution, and then computes the current reputation of each reviewer based on PageRank algorithm. Finally, the proposed approach adopts the time factor to measure the reviewer reputation of all reviewers. Experimental results based on real reviewer data shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The approach will provide useful references for selecting peer reviewers.
