Entrepreneurial enterprises knowledge heterogeneity and corporate investors’s knowledge creation
    2016, 37(2): 9-19.
    Abstract ( 1201 )
From the perspective of entrepreneurial enterprises knowledges heterogeneity(EEKH), the paper utilizes unbalanced panel data consisting of 471 corporate venture capital (CVC) observations from 62 companies listed in the Shanghai and Shenzhen motherboards during the period from 2000 to 2011, and it adopts negative binomial regression model to conduct an empirical study on the relationship between EEKH and corporate investor’s knowledge creation (KC) and the moderating effect of absorptive capacity and investor involvement on that relationship, Further study is also conducted to examine the relationship between EEKH and KC under different CVC program governance structures (CVCPGS). Some conclusions were drawn from the research: A U-shaped relationship could be found between EEKH and KC; and it could be positively moderated by investors’ absorptive capacity and involvement intensity. Further research also shows that an inverted U-shaped relationship could be found between EEKH and KC on holding CVCPGS, while a U-shaped relationship on non-holding CVCPGS. Therefore, established firms are supposed to choose CVC portfolio carefully, improve their absorptive capacity and establish interactive participation management mechanism after investment so as to achieve high involvement relationship. They are also supposed to carefully design CVC programs and take corresponding management and investment strategies.

    2016, 37(2): 20-28.
    Abstract ( 1557 )
Synergy of internal elements has become an important way to improve innovation performance. On the basis of building conceptual model, this paper comprehensively explores the relationship and mechanism among synergy of internal elements, dynamic capability and innovation performance by questionnaire and SEM. The result shows that the synergy of technical and non-technical elements can significantly improve total synergy of internal elements inside enterprises, while the synergy of internal elements cannot directly improve innovation performance. However, when dynamic capabilities are integrated as intermediary variables, the total synergy can effectively promote innovation performance. Finally, it is to put forward some suggestions to improve innovation performance by enhancing dynamic capability.

Micro Evidence of Innovation on Productivity in Textile Industry of China
    2016, 37(2): 29-36.
    Abstract ( 1245 )
Using the textile firm data from the census of National Bureau of Statistics, this paper observes the effect of three innovation factors to productivity at industrial level in an extended Cobb-Douglas production function and a stepwise comparison design. The three factors are independent research and development, technology introduction, and labor training. Each of them is significant at industrial level and more powerful infuence is produced while three factors are involoved together. Independent research and development has stronger influence in middle firms, private and HMT firms, but not powerful in foreign firms. Technology introduction has a stronger influence on state-owned firms and foreign firms. For developed area of textile industry, innovation has a stronger effect in Shandong than in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

A Research on the Stickiness of R&D-performance
    2016, 37(2): 37-46.
    Abstract ( 1298 )
Using China's high-tech listed companies from 2007 to 2012 as research sample, we examine the sensitivity of R&D-performance and the asymmetric characteristics of the sensitivity. We found that performance is rather sensitive to R&D investment and the sensitivity is asymmetric, which is that the performance will increase as the R&D investment rising and keep stable as the R&D investment decreasing, and this means R&D-performance is sticky. We also found that the stickiness will be affected by the entrepreneur's professional cognition and enterprise’s growth stage. Our research enriches the related literatures about R&D and provides reference for the decision-making about R&D.

The Research on the Network Characteristics of Information Service Industry Cluster and its Changes in Yangtze River Delta Area
    2016, 37(2): 55-62.
    Abstract ( 1289 )
This study is aimed at shedding some light on the evolution mechanism of information service industry cluster from social network perspective. Using panel data from four typical cities in Yangtze River Delta (YRD) over the period of 2000-2011, we establish cluster networks based on the affiliation network matrices. And then we investigate the evolution of these networks by examining network characteristics at both the ego network and whole network levels. The results indicate that: 1) the average capability of an organization in getting accessing to resources is increasingly strengthened with the enlargement of network size and the enhancement of connectedness. The connectedness of each cluster network reaches as high as 100% in the growth period. 2) Growth of connections within cities far surpasses growth of connections between cities, which consequently results in the pattern with Shanghai as the leader and Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Suzhou as followers. 3) Metrics show evidence for the existence of small world structure in the cluster networks and the efficiency of information dissemination within each cluster network is quite high.

TThe relationship between strategy alliance of new ventures and organizational legitimacy under environmental dynamism: An organizational learning perspective
    2016, 37(2): 90-97.
    Abstract ( 1472 )
Strategy alliance is the important means of new ventures, overcoming LON and acquiring organizational legitimacy. However, we still know little about the relationship between strategy alliance of new ventures and organizational legitimacy. Drawing upon the structural equation model, this study examines the mediating effect of organizational learning and the moderating effect of environmental dynamism on the relationship between strategy alliance and organizational legitimacy. Our findings contribute to the literature in several ways. First, strategy alliance is able to significantly influence new ventures' legitimacy. Second, the mediating test shows that organizational learning acts as a mediator between strategy alliance and organizational legitimacy. Third, environmental dynamism moderates the relationship between strategy alliance and organizational learning. In addition, hierarchical regression analysis shows that the relationship between strategy alliance and organizational learning becomes stronger as environmental dynamism growing from low to high. Fourth, environmental dynamism moderates the mediating effect of organizational learning on the strategy alliance and organizational legitimacy linkage. Furthermore, conditional indirect effect test shows that the relationship between strategy alliance and organizational learning is more significant when environmental dynamism is higher. To sum up, our findings provide great implications for those future studies on strategy alliance of new ventures and organizational legitimacy in a transitional economy.

Familial Resources, Entrepreneurial Action Learning and Familial Entrepreneurial Capabilities----Moderating Role of Optimism
    2016, 37(2): 98-106.
    Abstract ( 1421 )
Familial entrepreneurial capabilities are the key factors of family entrepreneurship success, but existing research ignored entrepreneurial competence of the team level; Entrepreneurial capabilities cannot be formed without the support of familial resources, but the transformation process is still not clear; Entrepreneurship is accompanied by profound emotional involvement, but how emotions affect the entrepreneurial process is unknown. Based on these research gaps, this paper builds a conceptual model of the relationship among familial resources, entrepreneurial action learning and familial entrepreneurial capabilities, and analyses the moderating role of optimism. Taking 198 entrepreneurial families as research samples, this paper uses structural equation analysis method to conduct an empirical test on the theoretical hypothesis. From the research results, we finds that, familial entrepreneurial capabilities include three dimensions---opportunity capability, operations management capability and family cohesion, which are distinctly influenced by different types of familial resources; Entrepreneurial action learning can be divided into three dimensions---experiential reflection, interactive support and practical participation, which plays an intermediary role between familial resources and familial entrepreneurial capabilities; Optimism of varying degrees has different moderating effects on the relationship between entrepreneurial action learning and familial entrepreneurial capabilities. Finally, this paper proposes some management recommendations from four aspects--- formation and governance of entrepreneurial family, familial resource management, action learning behavior modeling, and emotional management.

The impact of organizational innovation and technological innovation capacity on firm performance
    2016, 37(2): 107-115.
    Abstract ( 1975 )
Organizational innovation and technology innovation capacity is one of the hot issues in the long term to the researchers. According to RBV(Resource based view), the capability for technology innovation is decomposed into product innovation capability and process innovation capacity, and the influence of organization innovation and technology innovation on firm performance is explored. Based on the questionnaire survey and data analysis of 174 industrial and manufacturing enterprises in Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun, etc, the organizational innovation and technology innovation capacity’s influence on firm performance is argued empirically. The results show: organization innovation can promote the development of product innovation capability and process innovation capacity, but the relationship between organization innovation capability and product innovation is regulated by process innovation capacity. The capability of organization innovation and technology innovation has positive effect on firm performance. As a practice of organization innovation, product innovation capability has direct influence on firm performance, but the effect of process innovation on firm performance is regulated by product innovation capability.

Staging and Venture Capital Firm’s Investment Performance: The Moderating Effect of Investment Region
    2016, 37(2): 124-131.
    Abstract ( 1329 )
This paper investigates the moderating role of investment region between staging and venture capital firm’s (VCF) investment performance from the agency theory perspective. Using a sample of 991 entrepreneurial enterprises, which were funded by venture capital for the first time between 2000 and 2008, and the logit regression model, we find that when the VCFs invest in the local entrepreneurial enterprises (of the same province or of the same city with VCFs), the increase of the overall investment rounds has a significantly negative effect on their investment performance; However, when the VCFs invest in the entrepreneurial enterprises across their province or their city, the opposite is the case. These results imply that the relative yields and costs will change as the investment region varies, and VCFs need to consider their investment region as an important context factor in deciding whether or not to reduce the agency cost through the staging investment.

Coordination and Mass Customization Under Electronic Commerce with Return Policy
    2016, 37(2): 141-151.
    Abstract ( 1520 )
In view of the fact tht many scholars have studied the effect of procut modurity and productin policy on Mass Customization implementation, this paper introduces return policy into MC supply chain with upstream modular maker and downstream assembler, and establishes the centralized and decentralized decision-making models under Electronic Commerce, then dicusses respectively the optimal return rate and modularity for modular maker and assembler, and impact on lead time and selling price. Some results show that the optimal return policy not only rely on the degree of modularity, but also on demand volumn and the choice of decision-making in supply chain. In addition, there is the problem of ‘double marginalization’ under decentralized decision-making under EC, so we coordinate supply chain wih Nash bargining model contract. Finally, we further verfiy the conclusion by using numerical simulations, and give a number of suggestions and insights.
