This research is based on the data of 41 listed companies in Shaanxi from 2011 to 2013，utilizing the structural equation model and principal component analysis，this paper examines the  industry properties，investment on innovation and influence of innovation driver on listed company’s innovative capabilities within Shaanxi．The results show that: the industry’s properties has a constraint effect on innovation capability assessment，actively taking the best advantage of industry base，adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure，emphasizing on the industry properties influence towards listed company has a significant positive impact on the promotion of innovation capacity．Increasing R&D investment can improve the efficiency of R&D activities in listed companies；The extent of public information disclosure of listed companies is in favor of a comprehensive and effective innovation capability evaluation；development stage of innovation-driven plays a positive role in regulating the impact of innovation-driven elements of innovation capability of listed companies， The government should create a favorable macro environment to improve the innovation ability of listed companies．
