Abstract: The effect of interaction between network position and the geographical proximity on the enterprise’s innovation performance is studied from two aspects of network centrality and structural holes. And through multiple regression analysis on the survey data of 133 domestic enterprises, the results show that the interaction between network centrality and geographical proximity has a significantly positive effect on enterprise’s innovation performance, however the interaction between structure holes and geographical proximity has an insignificant effect on enterprise’ s innovation performance. The results also indicate that the advantage of geographical agglomerative creations largely depends on the enterprise’s network position, and the geographical space is able to change the transfer effect of information and resources in the network space.
