Abstract:  This paper studies the situation and hotspots of Altmetrics in China. It has very important significance and value in the research of Altmetrics in China. It is the basis and key of the research of Altmetrics in China. Using the literature review method，this paper systematically organizes and analyses the research advances of Altmetrics in China. The paper generalizes a conclusion that Altmetrics mainly included the following research: concept of Altmetrics，learning from experiences abroad research on Altmetrics Indicators, Altmetrics’ applications in scientific research institution. Finally，the paper analyses the topics from the above four aspects on the research status of Altmetrics and points out the characteristics, disadvantages and suggestions of the research on Altmetrics．
