Abstract: 3D technology has brought a revolutionary impact on the animation industry, and it’s becoming the mainstream technology of the development of animation industry. In this paper, based on the analysis of the multi factor information of the 3D technology patents in the United States and Japan, reveals the influence of different industrial development models on 3D technology innovation of animation enterprises, presents the 3D technology patent layout situation and market strategy of typical enterprises in China. According to the present situation of the animation industry in China, this paper put forward specific countermeasures in innovation incentive mechanism, industrial technology model, and technology research and development strategy.
