Abstract

From the perspective of geographic network, we use Chinese National Engineering Research Centers (CNERCs) as sample to explore the impact of local innovation network, foreign innovation network and its balance on innovation performance. The results show that relations between local/foreign innovation network and innovation performance are “inverted U-shaped”. In addition, Geographic network balance has a positive effect on innovation performance. This paper characterizes organization’s pluralism relations by local/foreign innovation network and testes the positive effect of geographic network balance on innovation performance for the first time, which provides a different perspective for collaboration innovation study and guidance for enterprises how to choose collaboration innovation network.on innovation performance.
