Study on correlation among familiness, family firm culture and family firm performance

Abstract: The study on the basic question of "exploring the effective path to promote the growth of China family firm in the key development moment",focusing on familiness, family firm culture and family firm performance, establishes a theoretical model of the relationship among familiness,family firm culture and family firm performance by reviewing relevant literatures. The researchers carry out the empirical study by the method of multiple regression analysis surveying 157 sample family firms in Guangdong province and identify the correlation of specific variables among familiness, family firm culture and family firm performance. The results of structural equation modeling further show familiness has positive effects on family firm culture, family firm culture has positive effects on family firm performance, familiness has significant positive effects on family firm performance directly, and familiness is positively related to family firm culture, which can affect positively family firm performance.
