Green Supply Chain Management and Green Innovation: Empirical Analysis Based on Chinese Manufacturing Firms

Abstract: The relationship between GSCM (Green Supply Chain Management) practice and green innovation was analysed in this paper, by dividing GSCM into internal environmental management, eco-design, green purchasing, investment recovery and cooperation with customers, and dividing green innovation into product innovation and process innovation. Based on a large-scale of questionnaire survey from 210 manufacturing firms in China, the research found that there were significant positive relationships between three GSCM practices, internal environmental management, eco-design and cooperation with customers, and green innovations.
