Abstract: A hypothetical model involving the relationships among three dimensions of social capital, absorptive capacity and innovation incubation performance is put forward in this paper, and the hypothesis is tested based on a sample of 156 incubated enterprises in Dalian by the structural equation modeling. The results show that structural social capital, relational social capital and cognitive social capital have positive effects on absorptive capacity; absorptive capacity plays a complete intermediary role between structural social capital and innovation incubation performance; both of relational and cognitive social capital not only have the direct influence on innovation incubation performance, but also the indirect influence on innovation incubation performance by absorptive capacity.
