Organizational unlearning and innovative performance:the mediating role of strategic flexibility

Abstract: Based on the relevant literature, the authors take strategic flexibility as a mediator and put forward the model among organizational unlearning, strategic flexibility and innovative performance. Then an empirical study is conducted using structure equation model.The empirical results reveal that the indirect effect of organizational unlearning influencing innovative performance is significant, but the direct effect is not significant. Meanwhile, strategic flexibility mediates the relationship between organizational unlearning and innovative performance. Furthermore, resource flexibility mediating the relationship between organizational unlearning and innovative performance is far greater than capability flexibility.
