Abstract

This paper explores the focal points and the evolution trend of the university-industry-research collaboration innovation in China by applying the method of co-word analysis. The result shows that the study to China's university-industry-research collaboration innovation is in the growing stage, and the group of the important journals for the relative research has been formed. The research subjects come mostly from the science and engineering or comprehensive universities with good practice basis and quite a number of papers are coauthored by researchers from different organizations. The hot fields of theoretical research feature in the co-evolution of China's science and technology strategic direction and the development characteristics of the university-industry-research collaboration practice. The focal points of the present research are mainly focused on the mode, mechanism, alliance and performance of the university-industry-research collaboration innovation and other areas of research. Besides, the methods of theoretical modeling and the empirical research are becoming the mainstream method and trend in the university-industry-research collaboration innovation.
