The study results show that the network strength has a significantly positive impact on the innovation performance of cluster enterprises whereas the knowledge transfer plays a totally intermediary role between the network strength and the innovation performance of cluster enterprises. Furthermore, this paper introduces the cluster type, a control variable, through which it is found out that the testing results vary in different types of clusters.
