Abstract

This paper examines deeply the influencing mechanism of knowledge attributes on industrial clusters firms' technological learning strategy. Based on numerous survey data and hierarchical regression analysis method, this paper conducts an empirical study to validate the theoretical hypotheses. The results show that knowledge attributes significantly influence the industrial cluster firms' technological learning strategy. To be specific, knowledge tacitness is positively related to industrial cluster firms' depth-driven technological learning strategy; knowledge tacitness and knowledge heterogeneity is negatively related to industrial cluster firms' breadth-driven technological learning strategy; and network centrality moderates the relationship between knowledge tacitness and industrial cluster firms' technological learning strategy.

Key words

industrial cluster / technological learning strategy / knowledge tacitness / knowledge heterogeneity / network centrality
