The impact of coupling interaction of industry-university-research instituteon innovation performance

Abstract: It possesses significant research value for conducting research on the impact of coupling interaction upon innovation performance of industry-university-research institute, the research helps to perfect cooperative innovation theory and to improve innovation performance. Coupling refers to integration and complementation of innovation systems among cooperative partners and interaction means interactive behaviors among cooperative partners for achieving certain objectives. An empirical research framework is set up based on the profound studies on cooperative innovation systems coupling, interactive behaviors, and innovation performance. And with the data of survey questionnaires, research hypotheses are empirically checked through the structural equation. Current research indicates that via the influences on interactive behaviors, impacts upon innovation performance are exerted by coupling of innovation systems involving industry-university-research institute. Finally, based on the perspective of coupling interaction, some suggestions on the improvement of innovation performance from aspects, such as the selection of cooperative partners, the establishment of process management mechanism of coupling interaction innovation as well as the enhancement of operational mechanism, are put forward.
