Abstract: Based on the theses, the heterogeneity of team knowledge is divided into explicit knowledge heterogeneity, the pseudo tacit knowledge heterogeneity, and the true tacit knowledge heterogeneity. And the relationship between team interaction and the team’s innovation performance is studied. Empirical results show that team explicit knowledge heterogeneity is insignificant to the innovation performance; the pseudo tacit knowledge heterogeneity has a significant positive influence on team communication, team knowledge sharing, work conflict, teamwork, and ultimately promoting the innovation team performance; the true tacit knowledge heterogeneity impedes knowledge sharing, leading to the team interpersonal conflicts, and hindering the team innovation. Regulating variable analysis shows that the team trust is able to significantly adjust the impact relationship between the team communication, knowledge sharing, interpersonal conflict, work conflict, teamwork, and innovation performance.
