Abstract

Based on the perspective of social networks, the effects of social networks on the turnover of newcomers are studied. The survival analysis on graduates graduated in 2008 shows that pre-entry and post-entry network strengths significantly increase the possibility of turnover, while the work last time is extended with the size of post-entry network expanding. It also found that by the verification of interaction effect both pre-entry strength and post-entry network size and strength have the positive influence on the work last time. At the last, the direction suggestion is put forward.
