Abstract

The knowledge transfer model for latecomer firms based on Nonaka's SECI model is put forward and the transferring process is described from three aspects: knowledge attribute, knowledge receiver, and transferring activities. Then, the cost factors are analyzed based on a four-dimensions-model according to the transfer process, and the theoretical model is constructed. By using structural equation model, the empirical data are collected by survey, and the investigation results are analyzed with LISREL8.0. Finally, some advices which promote knowledge transfer performance for latecomer firms are discussed according to the empirical result discussion.
