Abstract: Abstract: According to the activity of knowledge transfer within a technology alliance, the factors affecting knowledge transfer is in-depth analyzed, a conceptual model contained a number of factors is proposed and the relative testable hypothesis is developed. Based on field interviews and questionnaire survey, the structural equation methodology is used to analysis a sample of 251 corporations. The results show that the tacitness of knowledge, learning motivation of receiver, the knowledge difference, and relationship distance between alliance partner have a significant effect on the degree of knowledge transfer.Moreover, it is proved that the equity alliance is superior in knowledge transfer than contractual alliance.
