Abstract: Abstract: The index-evaluation method is employed to measure regional knowledge stocks; then the knowledgestocks are put into an economic growth model. Considering the geographical distance, knowledge-absorptive capability, and regional circumstances, a dimensional- extended model is construced to make anempirical analysis on China’s provincial knowledge spillover. The main conclusions are as follows: knowledge spills over the regions and accelerates the regional economy growth; human resource threshold theory comes into existence, namely, regional human resource and knowledge-absorptive capability make an impact on the knowledge spillover.
