Abstract

Abstract: According to the report of World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO), almost 90-95% of the world’s R&D outcomes are covered in patent publications. The industrial enterprises of Fortune 500 are selected as research objects, based on patent bibliometrics method, the patent co-citation strength matrix of enterprises are built using Jaccard coefficient. Combining with social network analysis, the patent co-citation network of leading enterprises is mapped in order to evaluate the enterprises’ technology level, to identify their core technical competitive power and the whole competitive situation of technology fields, and to analyze technology association among different fields.
