Abstract: Abstract: The fast growth of technology alliances is adapted to the current trend of innovation that is from isolation to alignment and from relying on internal resources to acquiring external resources. Based on the notion of technology alliances, the relationship between technology alliances and innovation is reviewed from the angles of theory, methods, and empirical study. At the end, research shortages, future research directions, and revelation for management are pointed out.
