Abstract: Abstract: The knowledge transfer in university-industry collaboration promotes the process of knowledge commercialization, and it strengthens the national and regional economic competitiveness, so it draws the most attention from academics and becomes one of focuses in current research. Spin-off activity is just an effective way to measure technology transfer, and its outcome satisfied most of us. The organizations of university-industry collaboration are “seedbed” of spin-offs. From views of organizations of university-industry collaboration, the extant literature on this topic is analyzed, and facilitators of spin-offs in university-industry collaboration are synthesized, then data are collected from organizations of university-industry collaboration representing different industrial sectors. The logistic regression model is used to test the hypotheses, it sheds more light on the facilitators of spin-offs. Determinants of spin-offs should be optimized according to the result by university heads and policy makers, and comments and suggestions are also offered.
