The influence of industry cluster character on the growth of talents: An empirical research based on four industry clusters in China

Abstract:     The influence of industry cluster character on the growth of talents is examined. The sample of this study is obtained from four industry clusters in China. It is proved that: (1) the economy status of industry clusters has a positive direct impact on the growth of talents in the clusters; (2) the Human Resource(HR) policy of industry clusters has a positive direct impact on the growth of talents in the clusters; (3) the culture of industry clusters has not a direct impact on the growth of talents in the clusters; (4) the living setting of industry clusters has a positive direct impact on the growth of talents in the clusters; (5) the Human Resource Management(HRM) of companies in industry clusters has a positive direct impact on the growth of talents in the clusters; (6) the culture and HR policy of industry clusters have a positive direct impact on the HRM of companies in the clusters.
