Abstract

A comparative study of the product innovation between China and western developed countries is presented. Through the in-depth survey of 113 Chinese firms and 608 western developed countries' firms, and structured statistical methods, it is found out that there are significant differences across the nations, with respect to product innovation's strategic objective, organization, idea management, market intelligence analysis, R&D, and production process.
