Recent researches suggest that the changes of routines not only reflect the responses of managerial goals and environmental pressures, but also are the natural products of organizational learning. Based on the review of prior researches, an evolutionary model of organizational routines deriving from theories of dynamic capabilities and organizational learning is offered.
