Abstract: This paper integrates project management risk into bidding risk, and makes use of life cycle management theory to study risk avoidance in software project bidding. Firstly, life cycle of software project bidding and main risk factors existing in the each stage of the life cycle are introduced. Secondly, risk avoidance measures corresponding to the risk factors are analyzed. At last, basic decision procedure of risk avoidance in software project bidding and an example are presented.
