A study on the relationship between the discrepancy of corporate culture and portfolio innovation

Abstract: Under the background of the hotly global competition and domestic economic change, how to control technology innovation obtain competitive advantage is becomes corporation concern important question. As a source of sustaining competitive advantage, culture has great impression on the style of technology innovation. Based on the previous research, this paper mainly studies the effect of bureaucratic organizational culture, supportive organizational culture, innovative organizational culture and effective organizational culture on two different types of technology innovation:self-innovation and cooperate innovation.This paper verifies that the organization with different culture will select different kinds of technology innovation style. Such proposals will give help to a good selection of innovation style by enterprises and contribute to the theoretic research of technology innovation. Enterprises can only enhance their innovative capability and improve their core competitiveness by correctly selecting the innovation style, which should consistent with their own organization culture.
