Abstract: Complex products and systems (CoPS) are very important to a nation's competitiveness. Research on this topic in china is still an emerging field. This article put forward a new innovation stage model according with the feature of CoPS innovation process, followed by a case study of integrated subway automation control system, which analyzed and described the innovation model in detail.
