A study of the impact of university-industry-government cooperation on regional economic growth

Abstract: Abstract: A study of the impact of university-industry-government cooperation on regional economic growth has the important theoretical value and practical significance for building a national innovation system and improves the capability of independent innovation and the level of economic development. Firstly, multivariate Moran’I index is used to describe the spatial correlations of university-industry-government cooperation. Then a basic model is built, expanded and spatial model is used to survey the impact of university-industry-government cooperation on China’s regional economic growth. The results showed that university-industry-government cooperation made a significantly positive influence on the economic growth, and had a spatial spillover effect on the surrounding areas. Based on these results, some recommendations are put forward.
