Abstract: China is a guanxi-oriented nation, incorporates the notion of ganqing and renqing. Sustained economic transformation has led to the dual network structure. Compared with the existing indigenous research, guanxi quality is a key variable to evaluate qualitative effect. Based on unique cultural and institutional backgrounds, this article posits and examines a measurement scale of business quanxi quality and government guanxi quality on organization level. We attempt to provide a definition and a typology of research on guanxi quality to improve the study of Chinese indigenous theory.
