Abstract: The dynamic capability is an ability to manage the operational capabilities, that is, a high level capacity to integrate and update operational capabilities to create and sustain competitive advantage. This study deconstructs dynamic capabilities from a new perspective of time and space evolution and builds a three-dimension model of dynamic capabilities' components including extent, depth, and evolving speed of dynamic capabilities. Then, the relationship between the dynamic capabilities and competitive advantage is tested by field survey and structural equation model. The findings show that the four components of dynamic capabilities have a positive effect on the competitive advantage and environment uncertainty plays a mediating effect.
