Abstract: Through discomposing agglomeration effects of national high-tech zones into four dimensions, including factor agglomeration effect, talents agglomeration effect, innovation agglomeration effect and productivity promotion effect, we have an empirical study on agglomeration effects of national high-tech zones, using statistical data between the year 2007 to 2010 with the method of paired-samples t-test, and having the high-tech enterprises as the main comparative object. It is found that national high-tech zones have significant agglomeration effects in each dimension, and they have played a key role in promoting the development of enterprises in the zones. At the same time, all the development zones have different agglomeration effects in each dimension, therefore they should be given different treatment in practice.
Key words: national high-tech zones, agglomeration effect, high-tech enterprise, mean test
