Abstract: The innovation in CoPS has an important impact on the national competitiveness. Based on the literature review of the dynamic capabilities theory and the current research status and the deficiency of CoPS, this paper deconstructs the three element dimensions of the innovation dynamic capabilities in CoPS, namely the market-oriented perception, the multi-organizational control capability and the organizational, learning and absorptive capacity, and constructs the theoretical model of the innovation dynamic capabilities in CoPS with the innovation strategy and innovation performance and its relative hypothesis. Then this paper conducts a large sample survey to make a statistical and verification analysis of the hypothesis and proves that the three dynamic capabilities in CoPS affects markedly the enterprise innovation performance through the innovation strategy. Finally, the paper discusses the theoretical contributions and management implications as well as the research limitations and future research directions of this study.

Key words: complex products system (CoPS), dynamic capabilities, innovation performance
