Abstract

Under the hyper-competitive environment, how to gain the competitive advantage is the key question which each enterprise in manufacturing industry should pay attention to. In recent years, the competitive environment is fast changeable, the degeneration of static resources and ability of enterprises accelerates. Scholars in the field of strategy management gradually start to study on technical strategy choices of enterprises in the manufacturing industry. Different technical strategy choices of enterprises have different influence on the innovation performance, cross-section data of enterprises in Chinese manufacturing industry is used to construct a theoretical model to study on the influence of different type technology strategy choices of enterprises in Chinese manufacturing industry on innovation performance under the hyper-competitive environment. Under the hostility, complexity, and dynamic environment, different type technical strategy choices (low-level technical strategy and high-level technical strategy) of enterprises in Chinese manufacturing industry has influence on innovation performance are discussed, then the experiences of technical strategy choices are summarized and the policy-type proposal is put forward.
