Abstract: Under the circumstance of open innovation, an interrelated and mutually linkage exists between patent management and technological innovation performance in enterprises. First, the main linkage factors between patent management and technological innovation performance are analyzed, and then the indicators which affect the linkage factors are developed. Second, the assessment model is constructed to measure the linkage effect based on AHP. The results show that the commercialization ability and open innovation ability of the enterprises have the manifest strong impact on the linkage effect. In the meanwhile, the resource allocation ability and achievement protection ability of domestic enterprises need to be enhanced. These findings could provide a theoretical and methodical support to strengthen the linkage between patent management and technological innovation performance and also enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprises under the background of open innovation.
