Abstract: The Triple Helix Model emphasizes the "university-industry-government" relations in the increasingly knowledge-based economy. The model argues that the universities should currently tale more advanced tasks in the economy and innovation. It also encourages improving the knowledge development and knowledge capitalization through "university-industry-government" cooperation. This article briefly reviews the primary context and main dimensions of this model, and then introduces relative domestic research as well as practices. The article reminds that the Triple Helix Model was brought forward under the background of developed country and high technology. Therefore it should be assimilated and adopted carefully when being applied in the innovation and practice of China.
