Abstract: Abstract: In the era of knowledge based economy, technology management capability becomes the key for enterprises to achieve competitiveness. The approaches for the promotion of technology management capacity are studied based on fitness landscape theory. The results show that the effect of technology management capability on enterprise performance is closely related to the maturity and configuration of technology management capability elements; technological life cycle exerts great influences on the promotion for the technology management capability; and approaches for the promotion of technology management capability are different in different stages of technological life cycle. The approaches in different stages of technological life cycle and the whole technological life cycle are analyzed, and it is pointed out that the enterprise should take appropriate measures to promote technology management capability according to its situation.
