A multidimensional concept model on the perceived organizational support for Chinese employee

Abstract: Abstract: First, a review for thedimensionsof perceivedorganizational support is made, and then, by focusing on different sources of support, a multi-dimensional concept model for Chinese employee perceived organizational support is brought forward. On the basis of previous studies and interviews, the scale of perceived organizational support for Chinese employee is developed. Through exploring its latent factor structure and testing the fitness of the model withdata, the results show that perceived organizational support for Chinese employee is composed of perceived organizational institution support, perceived organizational institution guarantee, perceived task-oriented supervisor support, perceived relation-oriented supervisor support, perceived job-related colleague support, and perceived life-related colleague support. The results expand and deepen the research categories and content systems involving organizational support theory.
