Geely innovation path from “imitation” to “independent”

Abstract: Abstract: How to tend to independent innovation from imitate innovation is quite beneficial to the capability cultivation for enterprises independent innovation in China. A new research method, namely, grounded theory is introduced to a case study of Geely, a motor vehicle firm. At last, a temporary conclusion about Geely unique path of enterprise technological innovation (obtaining the large number of reserve personnel through investment in education, fetching in idle technical experts from domestic and overseas technical personnel, increasing automobile R&D by the establishment of research institute and organization learning) is presented. This unique innovation path of capability cultivation for enterprises independent innovation has the inspiring significance.
