Abstract:     Abstract: Supplier Involvement in New Product Development(SINPD)emphasizes the vertical cooperation between enterprises and establishes a win-win cooperation model in the New Product Development(NPD). Based on the meta-analysis of literature and exploratory analysis of the interview, 12 driving factors were identified from the perspective of manufacturers. Then, a questionnaire survey of empirical research was used to verify the extraction. The result indicated that the external competitive pressures, the guidance of national innovation policy, product complexity and technical integration, R&D dependence, supplier dependence, and expectation of receiving performance were key factors among the driving factors.
