Abstract: Abstract: Aiming for creating more knowledge within scientific research teams, this paper builds an interactional mode of cooperative networks structure and tie strength. Collecting data of 111 scholars and their cooperative networks, we testified our hypothesis. The results show as followings: 1) networks centrality has positive impact on team knowledge creation; 2) networks density alleviates the link between centrality and team knowledge creation; 3) tie strength enhances the moderation effect of centrality and density. Thus, scientific research teams will have better performance in term of knowledge creation when their cooperative networks characteristic of high centrality, low density and strong tie.
